Q: Can I charge my textbooks to my Bursar account?
A: Yes. Unlike shopping anywhere else, students who are enrolled for the current academic term and who do not have a hold on their bursar account may charge up to $1,500 per semester at the University Store for textbooks and other academically-related materials. Charges for the fall semester begin Monday, August 1, and charges for the spring semester begin Monday, December 12. Students have the option of charging textbooks to their bursar account both in store and online. If you are purchasing your textbooks online and meet the requirements for charging, the bursar charge button will automatically be displayed as an option at checkout.

Q: Can I order my textbooks online and pick them up in the store?
A:Unfortunately, we do not have the space to offer in-store pick up service. We tried once and had more than 3,000 orders we had to store and then distribute.

 

Q: I accidentally ordered the wrong size, how can I correct my order? 
A: If the order has not yet shipped, we will try our hardest to correct the order before it ships, please contact us at 1-800-831-4OSU (678) immediately! If the order has already been processed, return it upon receipt with a note indicating the correct size.

Q: How much will it cost to ship my order?
A: Our shipping charges are based on your total order price.

Q: Why is something on backorder if it was available on the website?
A: Our store inventory changes very rapidly, we may run out of an item before your order is processed. If an item goes on backorder, we will make sure there is an order placed with the vendor set to arrive soon. We also check all of our locations for backordered merchandise in order to complete your order as quickly as possible. We will never charge you additional shipping on backordered items. 

Q: I received my order, but one of the items is damaged. What do I do? 
A: If you believe an item is damaged, please save the original packaging and contact us immediately at 1-800-831-4OSU (678). We will correct any errors as soon as possible 

Q: I received my order, but I need to exchange it for a different size. How do I do that? 
A: You may return it to our warehouse at:

Q: I sent back my return, when can I expect to see the item I requested in exchange? 
A: We try to work through all of our returns and exchanges as quickly as possible. Typically, your exchange should arrive in two to three weeks. Occasionally, the items requested in exchange are out of stock, we will contact you or wait until they arrive in the store before completing your exchange. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Student Union Bookstore at 1-800-831-4OSU (678). 

Q: I need to exchange my order, but I need the exchange right away. 
A: To expedite your exchange, you can place a new order for the correct item. You can return your original order with a note describing the problem and requesting a refund for that item.

Q: What is the textbooks refund policy?
A: 100% refund will be issued for textbooks returned by the 10th class day of the Fall and Spring semesters and the 5th class day of each Summer session. Textbook sales for all intersession courses are final unless you drop the class. Refunds are only issued with a cash register receipt. Books written in will be refunded at 50% of the new price. Lab receipts are non-refundable without written approval from issuing department. Online orders shipping and handling is non-refundable.
